It finally happened and although I said no many times, here I am painting old figures for new games.
I have painted this unit in a hurry, but only the 16 plastic ones; the champion in metal was already painted long ago, as it was the Gamezone sorcerer.
I am not rebasing anything; just using adapted trays.
I am going to try this whole unit plus the sorcerer with the mark of Tzeentch as see how it goes.
Great chaos unit with steel and red colours, which are not so usual. Will the sorcerer be a simple champion or will he also have magical powers? We have some reservations about The Old World, but we are curious to get the impressions of those who will experience it: let us know yours!
ReplyDeleteThank you Rodor. The sorcerer is just a wizard who can cast spells; the champion is the guy with the red shield and gloves and raising his sword. I haven't had a game of TOW yet, just reading the rules and painting figures. The game looks good but I cannot talk about it properly as I haven't played it, sorry.
DeleteOk, rereading your post we realized that we misunderstood the description of the miniatures: sorry. Do you plan to have a trial game of The Old World in the near future? Do you have a group of people in your area interested in playing?
DeleteNo worries friend. Yes, I joined a club in my city to start playing TOW and other games and I hope to play my first game soon, hopefully in a week or two. Cheers.
DeleteAh ah, some Chaos warriors! Great unit, but be careful, you will need to paint dozens more in the next months :)
ReplyDeleteHahaha. Do not worry my friend as they won't be as much. I already have some completed units painted in the past and I only need to paint a couple more: marauders on horse and chaos trolls ;-)
