Late War British Company

My first Late British company. After this, I am doing two more German and British, so four companies more in total, and then vehicles and houses.

Full company with 3 platoons and platoon commanders, mortars, MGs and PIAT.

A closer view. Models are fast painted with diluted paint and a wash. No lights.

My first two companies. Germans on the left, Brits on the right.

I am using pigments for the bases but the mat varnish is killing the colours and whitening the bases. Can you tell me of any way to fix that?

  2. Hi Javier! WW2 is not a period of interest for me, but I can appreciate the quality of the painting of the minis, and I must that the result is great. Your fast method is really impressive. I like your bases too. But sorry, I know nothing about the various rules of this period.

    1. Thank you Phil. Since I "discover" this fast painting method I don't use any other. It's not quality but it's quite OK and fast. Cheers,

  3. Those look great, love the paint jobs and basing! Sorry, I haven’t worked with pigments, so not sure how to help with the lightening.

    1. Hey Jack, nice to see you around. I'm just returning to CF and coincidentally Steven's Balagan has released a series of CF mini games that are ideal for beginners. I hope to paint two more companies in August holidays and have some starting games too. Cheers,
