A friend from the hobby gave me these "bandidos mejicanos" to play some DMH games with him and some other friends just for laughs.
The game is straight forward and easy to play, and very fun too, especially thanks to the cards that allow player interrupt others' actions.
I gave a quick paint work to them so I could play it and also resume my scheduled painting.
oh! These are lovely figures and painting! I like the 2nd photo the guy with red coat six shooters in each hand!
ReplyDeleteThank you Phil. I tried to paint that model with the same colours as the character "Calvera" from the movie the magnificient seven.
ReplyDeleteYes Eli Wallach was great in the Magnificent Seven and the Good, the bad and the Ugly Western Movies two of my favorites! I think you did an awesome painting work on the figures!
ReplyDeleteThanks again Phil, but it's just diluted paint and then a wash of varnish with betumen of Judea with a few drops of black ink. I only gave a light to black and white colours as the dark brown wash do not work on these two colours.
Delete"A quick paint job"? Really Javier! Makes me weep into my paint tray 🤣
ReplyDeleteFantastic work as always. The stripes on the ponchos are fantastic.
I hope the bottle has four XXXX's as this is an actual beer brand in Australia. 😂

Thank you Ben but I swear it's just a quick watered down coat of paint plus a wash in brown. Read my previous comment above. I'm afraid I only painted 3 Xs :)
DeleteI believe you Javier, but they are just amazing.
DeleteThank you for your kind comment Ben :)
DeleteHi Javier! Excellent paintjob on these Mexicans, a lot of style :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Phil, these miniatures have a lot of character :)
DeleteOutstanding work, Javier!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jonathan! I hope to play DMH soon with them again.
