15mm Fallschrimjägers

I have started painting WWII in 15mm to play Chain of Command and Battlegroup. This is my first batch of models. They are 3d sculpts from Eskice miniatures and I like their cartoon like appearance the remind me of the old Sturmtruppem comic stripes.

These are not all the miniatures I painted so far. I have enough for two sections and I may paint up to a full company. Below you can see a platoon with some support options at the back.

Close up of a squad with two LMGs.

From left to right, Panzerschreck team, medium mortar, sniper team, flamethrower, HMG and raketenhler.

I also painted some kradschützen from Eskice as well. They are very cute.

  1. These are great! I just commented on one of your older posts (DBA Korean armies) and I wanted to say how much nicer it is to read wargaming blogs as opposed to social media groups like on Facebook, etc. This reminds me of when I got into wargaming around 2010, and much of what I learned about games and painting was from blogs. This inspires me to resurrect my old blogspot page. Cheers and keep em' coming!

  2. They look fantastic, you’ve packed in a lot of detail at such a small scale. The sniper team with the decoy is such a great model!

    1. Thanks Alan! I'm painting them with very diluted paint, then a dark wash and finally some blacklining. The process is fast and effecitve and I'm sticking to it. Sniper's decoy is very fun and bikers always cool! Cheers,
