Baccus Roman cavalry.

Two units of Roman cavalry for Warmaster Ancients though based for DBX (4x3 cm.). After basing them I realised that I should ahve painted their shields in blue or green instead of red, as it is too much red when next to my legionaires. But anyway, they are finally painted and based, and now I'm finishing the light allied cavalry and generals. Expect a battle report next weekend :)

  1. They look really nice perhaps add an additional colour to the shield rims?

    1. Yes but they're done and I don't look back as there are many many figures to paint :)
      Cheers,

  2. Very good old chap!
Why don't you paint the shield of each unit with a different colour?
It will help you to difference them

  4. The troops look great, Sir. Red is a nice color, and if you are happy with the eyestrain you'll give your opponents (a clever attack strategy)...so am I!!

    1. Thank you Graham. Yes, right now I'm finishing the Roman generals instead of retouching the Roman cav :)
