Warbases & Vikings

I finally decided to flock the bases I ordered years ago to Warbases for a Basic Impetus Viking Army.
I did not flock them until now because I did not like Impetus after three games I played, and then they fell into oblivion until now that I tasted Oldhammer.

Warbases gave me an excellent service as they made the bases specially for me. OTOH their P&P was rather expensive though. Actually the stamps in the parcel were approximately half the price I had already payed in P&P.

  1. Nicely Done.

p&p is 'postage and packaging' mind so I'm assuming the rest is packing?

  2. They look good. I'm intrigued by Oldhammer, as I mentioned I started with 3rd Edition. It would be a good excuse to dust off the old 28mm.

    1. We have already buying old metal minis to play but by the time we finished painting one army each maybe there will be a new Fantasy ruleset ala Hail Caesar and we forget about Oldhammer :)

  4. They look great, Blacksmith. At 1st glance they reminded me of a watercolorist's dried palettes, which to me seem to look like an earthy-ground-color picture.

  5. Thank you Jay. I just used differente flocks at the same time which is effective and fast.

  6. Excellent work Blacksmith ;) I almost got into Impetus, but instead went for RRtK instead; I may have a look at Oldhammer though...

    1. Thank you Monty. As I said I didn't like Impetus. RRtK is great but I use it only for solo gaming. To play with friends I prefer DBA, Warmaster, Oldhammber and now I'm looking to Hail Caesar.
