I have been busy on Christmas Holidays but I still have to paint many more tanks, guns and buildings.
I always wanted to have an 88. This is from 28mm Eskice miniatures, scaled down. The crew was a bit tricky to print but I am happy how the set turned out.

I think I am improving at painting camo on German tanks.
Firefly, Sherman and Stuart.
Another house from Sarissa.
This is what I have painted so far.

The camo on your tanks looks fab!
ReplyDeleteHahaha, thank you Jonathan! I think paint needs to be a bit more diluted. Also, I'm using the colors I have at home which are not the correct ones, but I'm happy with the result :)
DeleteThey all look gorgeous, Javier, plenty for a game! ;)
ReplyDeleteV/R,
Jack
Thank you Jack. I've been looking for scenarios at company level to play with them and I've only found some from Squad Leader and ASL and IABSM from the Too Fat Lardies and all of them require more houses and tanks than I own. Do you know of other sources of scenarios to play with North Weasel's Company Commander?
DeleteFantastic Javier.
ReplyDeleteI think the Allies need some reinforcements!
They do! There is a queue of British waiting for painting, two more Sherman, one more Firefly, three Churchills, one crocodile, 6 universal carriers, two 6 pounders, etc. Cheers!
DeleteThe tank camo looks fine. I use all sorts of different greens and browns for post 1942 German armour as the final tone depended how much it was diluted before being applied. As long as it ends up looking like " a greenish brownish mess" (as one German tank commander described it), it is fine.
ReplyDeleteThank you Martin. I'd like to have a more stylish greenish brownish mesh but as I said, I'm quite happy with the results. I think that with an aerograph you can achieve better results but I never used one of those, but I'll experiment with other colours and more diluted paints. Cheers.
DeleteVery nice!
ReplyDeleteThank you Paul! :)
