DBA 3.0 IV/3 Anglo-Norman I

Well, here it is all the infantry from my new army finished,  Anglo-Normans from Essex with a lot of monoposes.

4 x 4Sp

4 x 4Bd (S) that can dismount.

Details of the shields (none of them have their shields facing forward).

From left to right, 1 x Ps, 2 x 3Bw, 1 x 4Lbw and 1 x Mtd 3Bw.

Close up of the mounted archers. This is the first time I ever see or have that kind of unit and I am itching to try it on the battlefield.

    1. I just read your message at my blog, Essex Miniatures company should have more photos of their 15mm/25mm ranges. Most celtic armies like Gauls, britons,Spanish, Germanic tribes usally have mixed assorted multi-poses warband figures, where as Drilled trained heavy infantry armies lke Romans, Greek hoplites and Macedonian Pikes have one pose figurines...but I know what you are saying and I agree with you 100%. Kind regards.. cheers!

    2. Cheers Phil. I just think Essex would sell more if they had nice pictures of their stuff like yours in your blog.

  4. One of my followers actully email the Essex Miniatures Company 2014? or 2015? asking to consider using my painted 15mm DBA armies/photos at their website but declined the offer because Essex Miniatures have their own residence photographer and miniatures painter.

  5. I think they could saved the money spent on that painter and photographer and use yours instead that are better and cheaper ;-)
