I needed some farm animals for my games. I am using these ones for Dark Ages orvFantasy as objectives to defend, escort or loot.
They come from the very useful 1/72 Pegasus Hobbies Farm Animals box and it contains all kind of handy animals like sheep, dogs, chickens, pigs and even piglets, donkeys, goats and cows which I will also deploy in some WWII settings.
Below you can see all the sheep contained in the box plus two dogs. The "shepherd" is a figure from Strelets.
Cute - we would say; succulents -an orc would say... are most animals monopose?
ReplyDeleteYes they are, one or two poses of each animal type. Cheers
DeleteVery nicely painted Javier. The sheep look great as I find it difficult to paint white without fading out any detail.
ReplyDeleteThe shepherd is great. i assume he is a conversion.
They will be a great addition to a game.
Thanks Ben. Painting the sheep was easy and quick; I just gave them a wash and them two dry brushes. The shepherd is not a conversion but a pilgrim from another set I uploaded before, the Norman transport from Strelets. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteLivestock as civilian a are always useful. Especially as so many fights historically would have revolves around stealing them!
ReplyDeleteExactly! I'll be using them for Viking raids as well.
