This blog is to share my main hobby which is painting and wargaming with miniatures. I paint and play historics, fantasy and sci-fi, from 6 mm to 28 mm.
Glad you had fun with the Warmaster rules; they really are brilliant. If I may offer some advice, then we have found that the more terrain we use, the more interesting the games get - so for your next battle I would go with at least double the amount. Oh, and crush those warbands with your legions :-). All the best, Kasper
We generated the terrain as per the ruleset says but I agree with you that there were few terrain pieces in the table. I hope to crush those barbarians and in fact I'll soon start painting two more legions to do the job! Cheers, Javier

Great AAR :-) What software did you use for it?
ReplyDeleteJason.
Thank you Jason. I'm using the OpenOffice draw tool, limited but easy to use.
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff Blacksmith! I've got the WAB rules myself, but not used them, prefering RRtK instead; but this looks an impressive scrap..
ReplyDeleteThanks Monty but WA stands for Warmaster Ancient and not for Warhammer Ancient Battles! :)
ReplyDeleteI also like and play RRTK
Very nice stuff!! A real shame that Warhamer Historical has disappeared!!
ReplyDeleteA shame indeed! We are now looking at Hail Caesar rules by the same author.
DeleteBTW, welcome to my blog, I hope you enjoy every visit to it.
Cheers,
Nice report! I recently picked up WMA and have been looking forward to playing. This battle whets the appetite...
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Aaron
You won't regret your purchase.WA is simple, elegant, subtle and very fun.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Gran informe... pero a ver si empiezas a usar el GIMP! ;-P
ReplyDeleteUy! Eso es mu complicado pa mí. Yo con el draw del Openofice estoy contentísimo :)
